Herbie, in which one of comicdom’s weirdest heroes goes back in time to help Columbus find America—mainly so that Herbie can own a lollipop factory. The issue’s backup story is kind of patriotic, but it’s not really believable because Herbie’s helping out Adlai Stevenson.
