  We’ve been assured that we’re totally unqualified to state our opinion that Mad Men has more in common with gay sci-fi than anything resembling the early 1960s. That’s okay. We’re just happy that so many conservatives have found a basic-cable series to enjoy. We’re also happy that we ran our own fantasy about living in 1962 back in 1992—although that link will take you to a more recent printing.
