They Did It! (Definitely!)

  When we recently wrote about Sidney Lumet’s Daniel, we ignored 1988’s Running On Empty as the director’s later companion piece—mostly because we thought the film might be worth a later entry. It’s not trashy enough, though. Still, as found via Ed Driscoll, Roger L. Simon has just written a fine article addressing Running On Empty’s importance in this year’s political climate.

      Of course "Running on Empty" is relevant since The Chosen One is finally being called to task for palling about with the unrepentant Maoist Bill Ayers. Looking back at the likes of Sarah Olsen, Bill & Mrs. Ayers, Abby Hoffman, and their ilk, I get tired of the constant apologia (or silence) on the left for their romanticized terrorists.
