If we saw that a horror movie called The Unborn was getting all kinds of bad reviews, we’d assume that the film was being unfairly maligned due to daring conservative content. That won’t be the case when The Unborn opens this coming Friday. It’s easily one of the most incompetent movies to ever be released into theaters. In fact, The Unborn is so useless that it’ll even be denied any sense of legendary badness—with maybe one exception.

The film manages to become offensive once the script drags Auschwitz into its moronic plot of an evil spirit trying to be born into the world. There’s even a scene where our heroine is informed that it has “fallen upon [her] to finish what started in Auschwitz.” That’s probably not an attempt at being shocking. The line is more typical of the blatant idiocy that takes up the film’s entire running time. Anyway, don’t get fooled by the critics finally being right about a movie.
