5/21/09: Good Lord…
…we can’t even retire a site in a timely fashion. The bright side, though, is that we’re working steadily. That makes us feel less lemming-like as we enjoy the decline of publications that we hate. Anyway, this will be the last time that deadlines interfere with a posting here. We’ll make up for it by working on a holiday to provide an entry for May 26th, and then our final posting will be on May 28th. That’s practically as final as ending things on Memorial Day.

Also, here’s some good news. We got our press kit for director Sam Raimi’s upcoming Drag Me to Hell, and we’re pleased to announce that the film actually has a character named Mr. Jacks. That link takes you to a very recent entry here that everyone’s already forgotten, which then links to an even older entry that no one remembers. The important thing is that we’re now really hoping that Drag Me to Hell will be an Evil Dead-style horror movie about brave bankers chainsawing deadbeats who don’t pay their mortgages. Sadly, that would be chainsawing in PG-13 fashion. We’ve still got high hopes.
